Day 1 - Monday, 23rd Sept // Chester

05.00 Collect at the Seven Oaks Hotel, Carlow

06.55 Collect any remaining passengers at Irish Ferries Terminal Dublin Port.

07.05 Check in at Dublin port / 08.05 Travel from Dublin port to Holyhead with Irish ferries

11.30 Arrive in Holyhead and transfer to Chester

13.30 Free time in Chester for lunch at own expense

15.00 Option: walking guided tour of Chester (not included in the quote, £130 per group)

The tour covers the heart of the city & would showcase the Rows, part of the city walls, Roman aspects and generally give your visitors an understanding of the city.

Day 2 - Tuesday, 24th Sept // York

Breakfast at the hotel / 10.00 Depart hotel for the day in York

Last about one hour and normally trace the history of York from the time of the Romans

Free time for lunch / Afternoon: Visit of York Minster (£7.50 per person for a guided tour, no charge for a visit only, not included in the quote) / 17:00 Transfer back to the hotel / 19.30 Dinner and night at the hotel

 

Day 3 - Wednesday, 25th Sept // Haworth & Saltaire

09.30 Depart hotel to travel to Haworth

11.30 Option: Walking guided tour of Haworth to discover the town of the Bronte’s in 1820 to 1850. Walk no more than half a mile to see the main sites; Parish Church, Parsonage, Sunday School and the top of Main Street where the Apothecary and the Black Bull reside. It would take an hour and ten minutes. (not included in the quote, £180 for the group. This includes the tea/coffee on arrival)

** Travel to Saltaire / Free time in Saltaire, World Heritage Site by UNESCO (a unique purpose built Victorian industrial model village / Enjoy at your own pace the town / Transfer back to the hotel /

Day 4 - Thursday, 26th Sept //Castle Howard

15:00 Depart back to York and have an afternoon on your own arrangements
